Control: Addendum

Last night, I noticed the Huët was still in the fridge. So I pulled the cork and drained the remainder of the bottle into a glass. Tasted better than I remember on any prior occasion and showed no recognizable deterioration from the long exposure to air. So I handed the glass to my wife. She tried it (it should be noted she has a very good palate), and said she thought it was terrific. I believe the exact quote was: "I'd gladly drink more of this!" I then told her I opened the bottle 9 days ago. "You must be joking?"
