Update on the Credit Crisis

I opened one of Clos de la Coulee de Serrant that I wrote about the other day.

It was a beauty, a bottle that emphatically demonstrates the elevated reputation of the site. No sign of heat damage or any other flaw. Of course, this doesn't change the fact there are no guarantees where Joly's unsulfured wines are concerned, but it does improve the odds with this particular parcel.

It was even good warm, the morning of its fourth day open, when I found it on a lab bench where it had been left overnight.
