A Label Brooklynguy Can Be Proud Of

A single-vineyard, blanc do noirs from one of my favorite producers in Champagne.

Roughly translated: Pinot noir planted in 1980, mid-slope, south-facing, on limestone soil with a sub-layer of chalk. Blah, blah, blah, unfiltered.

Should also have said, really freakin' delicious with enough acidity to make you think this can go another decade easy.

What is it? Sure, I could tell you. But from the label we also know they only made 100 cases, so there isn't much out there. And it's already hard enough to find.
